North Macedonia, in the future, will receive gas from Azerbaijan
Today, we attended the ceremony and inauguration of TANAP and the connection to Trans Adriatic Pipeline – TAP. This pipeline is 1850 km long, it passes through the entire territory of Turkey, connects with Georgia and TAP at the section with Greece. This project is extremely important for our country since it gives meaning to our connection with TAP. We’ll finally connect to this gas pipeline, which comes from the Shah Deniz field and ends in Italy, with a total capacity of 31 bcm annually. In this way our country will definitely diversify the sources of supply creating a possibility for stable natural gas market.
